A Secretaria de Estado dos Direitos da Pessoa com Deficiência (SEDPcD-SP), em parceria com a Companhia do Metropolitano de São Paulo (Metrô-SP), inaugura nesta terça-feira, dia 4 de fevereiro, o Centro de Informação à Pessoa com Deficiência. Essa iniciativa possibilita um espaço para atendimentos personalizados – inclusive em LIBRAS (Língua Brasileira de Sinais) -, e técnicos, como pequenos reparos em cadeiras de rodas e bengalas.
Também visando à inclusão social, os funcionários que prestarão serviços no estande também farão a captação de currículos de pessoas com deficiência para o encaminhamento em vagas de emprego, ampliando, assim, o número de profissionais com deficiência no mercado de trabalho. Esse serviço, juntamente aos atendimentos personalizados e técnicos, funcionará das 7h às 17h, de segunda a sexta-feira, no Metrô Tatuapé, localizado na rua Melo Freire, no bairro do Tatuapé, zona leste da capital de São Paulo.
Diariamente, segundo o site do Governo do Estado de São Paulo, cerca de 1.800 pessoas com deficiência são atendidas nas 62 estações de metrô, administradas pela Companhia do Metropolitano de São Paulo. Portanto, essa ideia foi pensada para promover maior independência à pessoa com deficiência ou mobilidade reduzida nos usos de pisos táteis, elevadores, escadas rolantes e rampas no interior das estações de metrô e trem.
E mais: a intenção é de que, ainda neste ano, mais cinco postos do Centro de Informação à Pessoa com Deficiência sejam instalados em estações do Metrô. Esse projeto conta com o auxílio da Secretaria de Estados dos Transportes Metropolitanos, o qual vem acompanhando o SEDPcD-SP desde maio de 2019, numa parceria a fim de encontrar medidas para as pessoas com deficiência.
